The Girl Who Sold Her Soul to the Devil and Won, one of Broich's hanging pieces, references the story of Amanda Lear’s album “Sweet Revenge.” It suggests an emptied and abandoned cocoon from which a huge
butterfly has emerged.
The piece was commissioned for the “Never Mind The Bollocks: Here’s Amanda Lear,” exhibition at envoy in April 2006.
